I fell in love with San Francisco. The city is beautiful with old architecture and everyone was so friendly and full of love. Lizzie and I managed our way to the roof of the hostel on the morning of the 1st and watched the sun rise over the Golden Gate Bridge. The first sun rise of a new decade. It was the most powerful moment to witness. It brought warmth and new beginnings and a new understanding and respect I have for the earth and why we are all here. These first ten days of January have been the best of my entire life. Each day gets better than the last. Each day is filled with more understanding. Its as if I am actually moving forward instead of on the daily broken record most people find themselves on. I am free. Each day is new and something to look forward to. Its my greatest wish that everyone feels the same and expresses it with everyone they love. I love all of you.

Wow I almost forgot about this thing. I guess its because the digi is broken, so I havent been taking as many pictures. But, here are some film pictures that I was able to scan on to the computer.

These first ones are from my roommate Juliannes split frame camera. Look closely, because the images blend two pictures together. Its all done with the camera and processing. No photoshopping, keep in mind.

Crooked Carousel

Its hard to tell on the computer but there are leaves at the bottom of the shot

Turkey Hands (sugar cookies we made on Thanksgiving)

The rest of the photos are from just a point and shoot camera Nick found at Goodwill. And I experimented with it around work and mostly the neighborhood.

I peeled apples on Thanksgiving for homemade apple pie and this is what I created out of it.
