The moment I landed back in Seattle my heart felt lighter and said Thank You. Life here is just such a comfort and being back has really sealed that into my head. I am back in routine and loving it. Work was actually enjoyable, I really missed my co workers. And now its my day off and I am sitting in the window at Sureshot drinking white coffee catching up on internet things and writing. I decided if I am going to live the writing life, theres no better time than now to jump in. For the next few months its my personal to goal to create a large variety of sample writing. I decided to begin with an essay on Modern America and how we got here, whats considered modern and whats considered civilization. I have started with some notes and questions of what I want to figure out from this exploration into this (great) country. My next day off I am venturing to the large glass pyramid building called the Seattle Public Library. Just thinking about it makes my heart beat a little faster. I am back. Back in action. Breathing again, feeling good. Doing what feeds my soul. And maybe its all in my head, or maybe there is a little truth in different surroundings create different attitudes.
Here are some pictures from the trip.

From the Plane

Dad and I took a motorcycle ride and I held tightly on to my camera to get these shots.

M - you are quite the photographer. You have a great eye for composition - I'm very impressed with your photos.
WA is an amazingly beautiful place. How wonderful it must be to be surrounded by such dazzling natural beauty. I love viewing the city through the window of your eyes and soul.
My dearest, you have found a place that feeds your heart and soul and spirit and I am so very glad. Most people don't ever reach the level of happiness you have right now.
