Another Picture Post

Welcome to Yupster-ville. Land of the Yuppie Hipsters, also know as Greenlake.

In Yupster-ville you can buy ridiculously over priced "fashion bikes" for your valentine. And wait patiently in the out-the-door line at Starbucks, even though there is a local coffeestand 100 yards away.

But in the center of town is beautiful man made duck poop pond Greenlake, where the citizens of Yupsterville can show off their brand new northface running pants and talk about weightloss. But thanks to Yupsters my roommates made some extra cash on Saturday as they played music by the lake. Who knew runners carried cash.

But theres my roommies. Nick on the left and Kevin on the right.

The weather was perfect, the sun light was perfect.

Checking to see how much.

They played, and I wandered around, camera in hand.

This guy was laying out with a boombox. Luckily his eyes were closed so I could sneak a pic.

This trees branches grew downward instead of up, so strange. When I was taking the picture a guy walked by and said this type of tree was the largest living thing on the planet, bigger than the largest whales.

This has become my new official favorite stop in Seattle, I sat here, in the perfect nook and finished reading the Dharma Bums.

Luckily this park is wlaking distance from the house. A long walk, but this one tree is worth it.

God's Thumbnail

On the way home we stopped by the fruit stand to say hey to our friends who work there. This is the famous fruit stand I rave about.

All is well in dreamland. Looking forward to seeing the Atlanta skyline soon.
