Picture Post

This a collection of a few days worth of pictures. The first are Snoqualmie Falls, which I first went to with my co worker Blakely but went back today with Kevin, Eli, and Chris. Then a few from when Kate was in town, which was so fun. I loved having a girlfriend around.

Each time I discover a new part of the Northwest I swell up with joy. There is something so pure about the outdoors up here. Its majestic. Its powerful. Its prestine and delicate. Its carefully arranged in layers and hills and pebbles. Its plentiful. And I am thankful I am here to enjoy it.

I am an eagle eye.

Part of a hydro-electric plant by the river.

100 feet taller than Niagara Falls, just not so wide.

Rock stacking is a peaceful way that people leave there mark, instead of carving into everything. Also used in meditation.

This water is gushing out of the side of the cliff.

A cave.

And inside it looks like this.

Please note: this is a tree growing on top of a dead stump.

Sunset by car

This is the view from Queen Anne Hill

The Pike Place Market (This is the same picture that is posted up at all Seattle's Best Coffee, except I took this one)

Found in antique store. Obviously.

This is Big Heapin Jolly Rock. Which resides in the beautiful park by my house.

Mimi - what a great waterfall. I can imagine what it must have felt like to feel the spray and hear the thunderous roar of the cascading water. Kind of like when I'm on I-285 in heavy traffic with the roar of cars rushing past me and a trucker spits out his window onto my windshield. Both are zen experiences, right?
The photo of the log with the ziggy zaggy is great. I hope you have your photos stored digitally in a secure place. I want to make some prints next time we are together.
Thank you for showing me your beautiful city.
I'm reading about Eustace Conway and am really into it.
